Irvine Cosplay picnic/gathering 2008 photos are up, here (14 pages). This event was well organized by ALA Chair, Hazel Chaz with other other ALA members. I was Pip, no photos of me will be found though since I was behind the camera 95% of the time.

All Comic-Con 2008 Photos are up and can be found here.

Here are some which turned out ok. :)

Unfortunately, not many of my photos turned out well. I had several problems this year with photography. My costume did not like the large flash (hat brim), my new camera bag (Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW) hurt my back when walking, and I was using a new flash unit, my first experience with an external flash.

San Diego Comic Con Day 0 photo’s are up.

San Diego Comic Con Day 0 photo’s are up. I didn’t take as many pictures due to my costume, the quality of the photos are not as good as AX08’s. But I am happy with many of them and gained a lot of experience with my new Canon 580ex-II flash with $0 dollar ‘A Better Bounce Card‘ (usually reversed).

I had a great time at San Diego Comic Con this year, met up with a few good friends and met some fun people.

Pictures from Anime Expo 2008 Day 0 are up.  I wanted to put something up although I have much more work ahead of me.

It’s been two three days already since AX08 and I still have to adjust Day 1 – 4 pictures in Lightroom 2.0 beta before posting.

I had a blast at AX this year.  Truely, the most fun I have during the year is AX.   The Shuttle system worked well, I did not have to stay in line for any longer then an hour for anything, and I met/photographed many people and friends from the Net. I’ll post more later but for now, here is the link to my AX Gallery.
