What are these? They are glass-like plastics, hard, clear, and are used in place of glass for many projects such as display boxes, racecar windshields, and bullet proofing your pope mobile.
My dad and I have started a Rupp mini bike restoration on what we think is a 1971 Rupp Enduro. We think that’s what it is but it’s been modified so much that we can’t identify it, a Rupp parts salesperson said that it is likely to be that year/model.We know it’s a 1971+ but model could be many including a rare and sought-after Black widow!
Like I said the bike is heavily modified, the frame was reconfigured to eliminate the trademark Rupp engine slant, the engine has been replaced, a headlight support was added, and many more mods that’ll going to make this resto a little more expensive than it should be.

Anyways, our plans are to restore it to factory spec (my dad’s plans, I want to hot rod it!). We’ve already began by tearing the thing part and cutting welding the frame back to factory spec (whole weekend project).Next up; stripping the paint!
I’ve been thinking of how to improve and further personalize my blog. Here are my ideas: top Web-site navigation, wider layout to accommodate wider media (pictures, etc), and RSS feeds displayed from my favorites such as dannychoo, www.japanator.com/, and of course the ANN.
I just added the pictures from Fall Fling 2007 to my gallery. This is a all Mopar show at Woodly Park which my dad an I have been going to for the last probably 9 years. Parking was a little farther than usual but we still found free parking near by.
This year I decided to shoot in RAW, I’m glad I did. The editing you can do to a RAW fixes most exposure and lighting issues and allows you modify/crop each picture easily when using Adobe Bridge CS3
Gallery updated with some pictures from the show, this is a great show to take pictures at although my focus was spending time with my family. Some of my favorites:
[thumb:1681:l] After watching two episodes of the horror/mystery Anime ‘When They Cry’ at ComicCon I had to see more!So I rented When They Cry Vol. 1 and was instantly hooked.Seriously, I haven’t been as creeped out as I was while watching this DVD in a long time.
I added the other currently released volumes to my rental queue but the status is set to ‘coming soon’… I then realize that ‘When They Cry’ IS A GENEON TITLE! That never ‘clicked’ before today.
So, not only has my favorite Anime company gone out of business in the US (kinda) but I’m hooked on one of their current titles, they have the license to the second season too and have released only the first 3 volumes (1st season total).
